Brendon Grant – Jarislowsky Fraser

Brendon Grant is from the Haisla Nation and Nisga’a Nation communities in northwestern BC. Brendon’s grandparents guided him towards post-secondary education, which led him to obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from UNBC and a Master of Marketing & MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.

Post-secondary education opened doors to being a trusted financial advisor to the Haisla Nation Council from 2012-2016 when our advisory team supported negotiations leading to precedent-setting agreements with LNG Canada, paving the way for the largest private investment in Canadian history, along with the birth of Cedar LNG.

Brendon also provided his financial expertise in supporting private financings of land acquisitions, developments, and construction projects for the Haisla and another First Nation community on Vancouver Island.

Brendon is now a Manager with Jarislowsky Fraser, recently obtaining his Chartered Investment Manager designation to support the preservation and sustainable growth of hard-earned capital from settlements and economic development for Indigenous clients across the country.
