Janice Gladue – TIPI Group

Janice Gladue (Asini waciy iskwêw – “Rocky Mountain Woman”) is a member of the Sweetgrass First Nation in Treaty 6 Territory. Currently living and working in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Janice has spent her professional career building and supporting capacity development in Indigenous communities. Whether personal or professional, Janice works hard to foster understanding and build capacity and connections between others. She is motivated to positively impact whatever relationship or initiative to which she might be involved. She is known to be slow to judge others, a voice of reason, and a positive perspective to even the most trying situations.

She is a passionate and values-driven visionary who drives organizational success through her people-focused leadership approach. She sees potential where others would see challenges, and bridges gaps by creating linkages to opportunities.

Janice has spent the past 20 years growing her skills and knowledge base through her work in various fields including marketing and communications, finance, community economic development and insurance. Beginning her journey in the insurance industry in 2009, she now serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the TIPI Group of Companies. The TIPI Group is a national family of companies that provides cost-efficient and effective insurance and risk management solutions, group benefits, HR consulting services, talent acquisition services, learning & development services and truth & reconciliation engagement. TIPI has doubled down by investing in people and developing innovative products and services that continue to build capacity and opportunity in the communities and organizations we serve. Janice has been at the forefront of this organizational commitment, challenging those around her to question the status quo, to think about how they can realize positive change and make a difference through purposeful efforts.
